The Learning Continues...

So far I've learnt about "Starting a New Blog", Creating a blog on Wordpress, setting up a Wiki using WetPaint, Twitter, Delicious, Flicker, RSS feeds.I am enjoying my Wetpaint, where I´ve written some quotes for fun and well-being, now Twitter I had heard of but didn´t realise how immediate it is once you send your twitter!
It´s an interesting way to communicate with others when you can´t see them in person, and so quick, and easy...

Re: Introduction

I'm writing in response to the introduction to Blogs and enjoying the process. I like how I can edit it and change aspects like font and layout. I'm looking forward to learning more, who knew you can tailor it as you wish! Great!

Thoughts on a First-Time Blog

On Learning 2.0:
I hope to learn how to set up a blog myself, how to teach my library clients if they themselves need to set up a blog, as I can visualize there could be a great demand for it.

I'd like to learn quick and easy methods in relation to blogging to make it an enjoyable experience.

Lifelong Learning:
It is an essential requisite in this day and age because people are living longer, retiring earlier, so they need to have intellectual and social stimulation.

Library Blogs:
I can acquaint myself with the diverse activities that are being held in other libraries, perhaps update my existing skills through the exchange of information.

"Feelings of a first time blogger"

And so it begins...I have entered the mysterious world of cyberspace...I mean when I first heard of the word, "blog" sounded like a kind of creature you'd easily find in a science fiction novel, but I digress...it has been a new and strangely interesting thing to learn about, relatively easy to sign up, simple to access and best of all...quick!
